Seminário Rota do Sentir

As part of the National Arts Plan, Montalegre hosted the ‘Rota do Sentir’ Seminar on 26 and 27 June 2025. Through artistic practice, the initiative sought to foster critical thinking, reveal the power of the arts as essential tools for cultural and social dynamics, and highlight the value of diversity, not least because of the setting it chose to make its mark. Given that diversity is today one of the main challenges facing the education systems of modern democracies, this seminar invited reflection and debate on the theme of artistic creation with teenagers, in a region weakened by depopulation.

At Rota do Sentir, we are interested in the perspectives of both art educators and artists.
