FEBRE DE BURRO
FEBRE DE BURRO, performance by Rui Paixão, recaptures the itinerant spirit of street arts: travelling from village to village, transforming everyday life into a stage and giving voice to the auditory and visual memories gathered during several weeks of artistic residency in the Miranda do Douro region.
A Floresta
A set of discordant elements coexist in discovery, in (dis)engagement, in being, in relationship, in a group, in dance.
We have created a contemporary artistic object that invites teenagers and adults to explore the legacy of tradition – between parallel worlds and safe places, witches and animals, weddings and funerals, maps and landscapes, realism and surrealism. We cross erudite, popular and contemporary universes.
This "Floresta" that we are, this diversity of times, contours, textures... ours. But they are like us, they want to be like us, they will be like us, only with a different veneer, a different soundtrack, a different perspective. How wonderful.
After all, what matters most? That tradition dialogues with the passage of time or that it is received, albeit with disinterest, for its voracity?
Condomínio
PROJETO EM FASE DE CRIAÇÃO, COM ESTREIA EM ABRIL DE 2026
There is no separation between heaven and earth. There are no boundaries, not even between "o lado de cá y el lado d’alhá". A plateau that is like the painting dreamed up by Duchamp: it has no front or back, no top or bottom. A condominium, therefore: at once company, concomitance, simultaneity.

PROJETO EM FASE DE CRIAÇÃO, COM ESTREIA EM MONTALEGRE EM DEZEMBRO DE 2026
A show performed by teenagers from Montalegre and Miranda do Douro, and part of the larger Rota do Sentir project. A manifesto of youthful malaise that explores the tension between adolescence and duty, or the depression that arises between desire and effectiveness. Set in the landscape of the Peneda Gerês and Montesinho Natural Parks, the project focuses on the homonymous relationship between two types of nature: the “natural”, associated with the landscape, and the human.
Seminário Rota do Sentir
As part of the National Arts Plan, Montalegre hosted the ‘Rota do Sentir’ seminar on 26 and 27 June 2025. Through artistic practice, the initiative sought to foster critical thinking, reveal the power of the arts as essential tools for cultural and social dynamics, and highlight the value of diversity, not least through the setting it chose to pave the way.

Mercado das Madrugadas
Imagine it is 24 April 1974 and you are dressed in blue when you should be dressed in red, and you are fed up! And you see no way out! And you see no future! (...)
Imagine that on 24 April 1974, you meet up with your friend (...) and spend the afternoon complaining about life and this bloody country and dictatorship. Your friend says to you:
– Do you know what would be great? If we woke up tomorrow and everything had changed!
And tomorrow came, and everything had changed!
