Rota Clandestina is a nomadic artistic journey. It starts with artistic residencies linked to the territory, which in turn give rise to new performing arts creations through national and international co-productions. Rota aims to promote the city and the territory as a space for creation, regular meetings and exchanges between the community that hosts resident, national and\/or international projects, as well as artists invited to develop a work in direct dialogue with the space they inhabit.
\nIt promotes the act of creation as synonymous with caring for something or someone, and consequently develops an ecological attitude towards the place one inhabits. It aims to encourage collaboration between different spaces in a place during a creative process: these spaces may include a municipal theatre, a recreational society, public spaces or a teenager's bedroom, which they choose as their creative theme.<\/p>\n

In 2025, the Rota do Sentir project was launched as part of the Rota's activities, in collaboration with the National Arts Plan.
